Imagine being far from home. Outside, a foreign language hums. In your pocket, a handful of savings. In your heart, fear: Will I make it? You don’t know anyone. You don’t know how to open a bank account, where to find a doctor, how to explain to your child why they can’t go to their old school. Every day is a struggle — for papers, for work, for dignity. And sometimes, the hardest moment is at night, when the silence reminds you how much you miss what was familiar.

This isn’t just the story of a foreigner. It’s the story of anyone who has ever felt lost.

Poland is changing before our eyes. It’s becoming home to mothers from Ukraine who fled war with children in their arms. To students from Africa dreaming of a better future. To fathers from Asia working 12-hour days to send money back home. To Poles who, through life’s twists, have lost everything and don’t know where to begin. These people don’t need pity. They need someone to say, “We’re with you. This is your place too.”
